Our story
Built on the calls other contractors wouldn't take
We started because of a pattern we kept seeing: homeowners quoted for a full system replacement when a $180 part would have bought them another five years. It happens because most technicians are paid on commission, and replacement pays better than repair.
So we built the company the other way around. Our technicians are salaried. They have no financial reason to recommend anything other than what your system actually needs — and when replacement genuinely is the right call, you get the numbers behind that recommendation rather than a sales pitch.
15 years later that's still the whole model. It's why most of our work now comes from referrals rather than advertising.

Diagnose, don't guess
The obvious symptom often isn't the cause. Our technicians are paid to find the actual fault, not to swap the cheapest likely part and hope. It takes longer on the first visit and saves you a second one.
No commission, no pressure
Our technicians earn the same whether you buy a $200 repair or a $9,000 system. That removes the single biggest reason homeowners get sold equipment they didn't need.
Safety is not an upsell
Carbon monoxide and gas leak testing is included on every heating call at no charge. It's not a package tier — it's the minimum standard for working on a combustion appliance.
Accountable locally
We're based in Springfield and our families live here. There's no regional call center between you and the person responsible for the work.

Founded with one van
Started as a single technician taking emergency calls across Springfield, on the principle that the price quoted should be the price paid.

Grew into commercial work
Added rooftop units and planned maintenance agreements for local offices, retail and light industrial sites.

Expanded into whole-home filtration, humidity control and ventilation as homes got tighter and indoor air quality became a real health question.
